I was employed by Wayne Electronics P/L from February 2002, until March 2007, (this was the month that Wayne Electronics closed down the manufacturing side of the business). In those 5 years I worked as Electronics/Electrical Technician where I was responsible for assembling, wiring, testing and commissioning the entire range of Wayne Electronics UV Phototherapy and DrySure equipment. I further enhanced their products with modifications to Electronic Circuits and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design. I performed numerous Lamp Changes and Servicing/Repair work all over Australia.

Prior to the above employment, my career started with Telecom/Telstra where I completed their 5 year Technician in Training Course and then went onto to TAFE where I completed the 4 year Electronics & Communication Certificate (now known as Electrical Engineering, Advanced Diploma). I then spent 34 years with Telecom/Telstra where I was involved in installation and commissioning of electronic computer contolled telephone exchanges, high speed data and optical fibre networks and rising to management level, with the last 10 years in NSW Project Management where I was responsible for multi million dollar Telecommunications contracts rolling out new digital technolgies.
